This Triple Talisman Layered necklace has an antique enameled hamsa, an antique Indian coin from the rule of Queen Victoria (1874) with a flowered bail and 3 glass stones, and a protective prayer pendant (does not open) with metallic charms hanging from it that create a soft jingling.

This piece also has a pair of beautiful antique silver beads from and 6 antique silver beads from Morocco.

Necklace is 17 3/4“ long (the shortest layer that sits on the neck). The pieces can be adjusted to fit you just right upon request.

Triple Talisman Layered Necklace Collection - Fall 2021

I was inspired to create these necklaces in order to accent the beauty of the antique hamsa from North Africa in my collection.

Hamsa is a five fingered right hand that are thought to protect against the Evil Eye. These symbols are found across many countries and cultures, with the ones featured here are from North Africa and are all antique (over 100 years old).

I have combined each hamsa with two other good luck talismans. The antique coin pendant and the pendant with small hanging charms that create sound are both believed to ward off misfortune and the Evil Eye.

The materials used in this piece are antique and have been worn and loved for 100 years. As a result, the pieces show wear and often have beautiful imperfections.

These pieces contain silver, but are not sterling. They most likely contain some nickel and are not recommended for anyone with a nickel allergy.
